ABOUT
Circus Freaks was created by Bay Area native Christopher Childers. Birthed from the desire to showcase the incredible talents of the artists in the Cirque shows, and presented in ways no audiences had ever seen them before.
“Circus Freaks” was a hugely popular, always sold out, late night extravaganza in Las Vegas, which ran for 5 years from the year 2000 to 2004. It featured many performers from Cirque du Soleil’s “O” and Mystere shows, as well as performers from “Folies Bergere” and “Jubilee.” The House of Blues in Las Vegas partnered with Circus Freaks’ Director and Creator, Christopher Childers, and they enjoyed a hugely successful run! Christopher left Las Vegas in 2004 and moved back to his native SF Bay area and he never really thought about the show again. Until, last year!
Christopher brought Circus Freaks back to life, in 2023, and it was once again, a sold out success!
The show was at the SF Foundry and featured not only new and fresh acts from the Cirque shows, but a handful of the original performers from the first 5 years of the show, which was like a family reunion, on the stage! Older, wiser and better than ever, the OG “Freaks” as he calls them, all replied yes, when asked if they would consider re-mounting the show. Christopher knew, while onstage during last years’ show, that this show was indeed, back!
Circus Freaks returns to Las Vegas for the first time since its original sold-out run — and it’s back bigger than ever!
The 2026 show will run 3 times, March 27th, 28th and 29th at the Big Top Tent in Henderson, NV. (1600 Wigwam Pkwy), as one of the featured shows at the Viva Fest.
Expect the same steamy, circus-driven variety you love: jugglers, pole artists, comedians, aerialists, singers, sexy dancers, and of course, a slightly insane clown & Master of Ceremonies. The show features original Freaks alongside incredible new talent — hugely artistic, darkly sexy, hilarious, and always unpredictable.
Every show has sold out in the past — we truly hope this year won’t be any different. Don’t miss it!
A portion of the proceeds will go to support ALS of Nevada in honor of our friend Michael Lee
