Circus Freaks was born during Creator Christopher Childers’ time working with Cirque du Soleil. There was so much crossover talent and he wanted to showcase the things you didn’t see in the shows. Aerialists who could sing, dancers who could perform aerial skills, contortionists that were ballet dancers, and acrobats who could do pretty much everything! He fondly often called them “Circus Freaks” because they trained mercilessly, kept themselves insanely trim and incredibly flexible—working at their craft constantly. Shooting hoops, jumping rope, hand balancing each other, stretching, jogging, lifting weights and singing!
A rare group of freaks indeed!
